Finance Freebie Friday

This week I'd like to chat about business bank accounts. Someone asked about this in another group that I'm in and I have a few thoughts, hope they help!

Since I work with exclusively with Xero (an online accounting app similar - and much better IMO - to QB) with my clients, a few things are important to me:

• firstly, does it import automatically - aka have. a bank feed - to Xero (some smaller banks and credit unions don't)

• does it have an easy website interface to look up transaction detail when there's a question on it (some don't, see below)

• bank account fees/customer service

• ethicalness of the bank (hint: almost no bank is, but some are much worse than others)

The top banks I recommend and use are Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Capital One, Chase - and two business banks that are wonderful BUT with awful online UX (interface) are Silicon Valley and First Republic.

Nerdwallet (a great website resource) also shows others, but again, I always judge the integration aspect first, so not familiar with some others listed here - but wanted to provide a resource for research:
